2021 RECC

The Energy Club at Ross hosted the 13th annual Renewable Energy Case Competition (RECC) virtually on Wednesday, November 3rd and Thursday, November 4th, 2021 during Ross Energy Week. 

RECC was a traditional style case competition where teams from top schools compete to solve one of the many significant challenges facing the renewable energy industry. Sound understanding of business strategy, finance, and the energy industry wass required to analyze the case and devise a successful solution.  

Each team consisted of four (4) or five (5) graduate student members. The case required rigorous financial analysis, therefore a minimum of one (1) MBA student per team is required. All team members must represent the same university. 

Key RECC Dates* (all deadlines listed at 11:59 pm EST):

• Team Registration Deadline: Oct 1st

• Case sent to Teams: Oct 6th

• 1st Round Submission Deadline: Oct 15th 

• 2nd Round Semi-Finalist Announcements: Oct 18th

• 2nd Round Submission Deadline: Nov 1st

• 2nd Round Presentation: Nov 3rd

• Finalists Presentations: Nov 4th
