Shreya is a full-time MBA student in the class of 2026. Prior to Ross, she worked in economic advisory and business intelligence, including The Economist Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, and the Indian central bank, analyzing global macro trends and their impact on businesses and governments.

Ross is a full-time MBA candidate (‘26). Prior to business school, he served as a Ground Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has interned with Conductor Solar, analyzing mid-market solar pricing, and with Cummins’ Corporate Strategy team, evaluating the synthetic fuels market. He is pursuing a career in renewable energy.

Dan (he/him) is a full time MBA student in the Class of 2024. Prior to Ross, he studied Mechanical Engineering at Harvard and worked in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate industry as an Operations Manager and Project Manager. Dan is interning with Boeing in Seattle.

Gardner is a dual degree MBA/MS student at the Erb Institute. Prior to Erb, Gardner was an Engineer Officer in the United States Army. He is passionate about renewable energy development.

Prior to her Masters, she worked for an environmental consulting firm, working with corporate clients on their sustainability strategies, decarbonization roadmaps and annual corporate reporting requirements.

Ken is a full-time MBA student in the class of 2027. Prior to Ross, he worked as a mechanical engineer for BP on deepwater O&G projects and operations across the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and North Sea, including working as an offshore site engineer on the Mad Dog spar.

Sivashankar, Class of 2026, works at NorthStar Clean Energy (a CMS Energy company) as a Principal Business Analyst. Before Ross and CMS, he served as a Product Lead at Standard Chartered Bank and previously worked as a Software Engineer at the Indian Navy’s Maharashtra Naval Academy.

Lucas Cao (MBA ’26) began his career in supply and trading at ExxonMobil in Calgary, leading renewable biodiesel supply chain development. Inspired by the rapid progress of renewable technology, he is now pursuing a career in climate tech to help drive the global energy transition.

Andrew is a 4+1 first-year master's student at the School for Environment Sustainability concentrating in Sustainable Energy Systems, as well as an undergraduate student (4th year) studying Corporate Sustainability & ESG as an Erb Institute Fellow at the Ross School of Business. He has vast experience in environmental policy and justice roles, including at Environmental Defense Fund and Consumers Energy, and is currently a Graduate Student Research Assistant under Dr. Tony Reames for the Energy Equity Project. He is seeking high-impact roles post-graduation at the forefront of the energy transition, specifically interested in grid modernization and renewables development.

Ashutosh is a full-time Master of Science student in the class of 2026 at the School for Environment and Sustainability. Prior to UMich, he worked in sustainability and ESG for JSW Steel, leading environmental data reporting, waste and wastewater resource management, and air-quality digitization across a large integrated steel plant. His most rewarding experience was developing an ESG performance framework that improved data transparency, informed decision-making, and strengthened the company’s decarbonization strategy.
